Jim, I agree with you immensely. I am not a resident of Boot key so what I say is only worth what it's worth but all I can say is that I want good things for Marathon and the Keys as a whole. I am going to be heading to Marathon in about 12 days or so in my small sailboat. I have been planning to come down for years but only seriously for almost a year. I have been to Marathon on several occasions in the past and heard great stories from old friends and online and in print about Boot key and Marathon. Greed can be a very powerful motivator and I hope that the citizens of the Keys in general stay together and realize that their greatest treasure is the one shared by all the inhabitants of the keys...and those who come to visit...and that's the environment of course...Peace...
