I have to go back and change that page about Marathon marina - that's now old stuff and the Marina has changed ownership. I don't have personal experience with the new management, but I've heard a couple positive reports. The problem with the other was one of the owners - Jim Cuthbert - who was as close to a crook to his customers (including me) as they come. So - don't write off marathon marina. I'll change that web page and give them a fresh chance - it's a popular winter spot, and I also like Burdines. Keys boat works on the Gulf side is a plain boatyard, but has friendly and helpful people and is also a good place to be.
