Been there, doing it right now and I can sure relate. Be strong and learn from it. He will be sure to remember the mistake he made and by that time you will be happy and have no need for his games.
I would tell him not to let the door hit him in the rear...not really. It is better to leave them with thoughts of you as you are..sweet and no final fight.
