And what I needed too when I was left for someone else in 2 different relationships, both of which were long-term and thought would have lasted "forever". Ha! And you know what? Yes, I still miss them both and probably deep down love them both. But I do not want them anymore and wish them happiness. Part of wishing them happiness is stopping ALL contact and letting go. It is tough to do, but you CAN do it! Do not call, do not go get in another relationship immediately (at LEAST for 9 months) and just take care of yourself and be happy!
I see these parallels here and understand the sense of loss, betrayal, pain and confusion.
But PLEASE, don't lose sight of the reality! These ladies left you for SOMEONE ELSE! Do you really want to be with that kind of person? Aren't you glad you all did not marry these unfaithful, untrustworthy persons and have them do this to you at a much more critical time than now? Well, if you are not, then you should be glad. VERY glad!
