Posted by Lisa on January 17, 2007, 3:52 pm, in reply to "Re: Lisa" They had one game in which they did not play well. I think it would be short-sighted to judge from one game, played under unusual circumstances. Bowl games are a lot like the 1st games of the NFL. You can often throw out the results if you want an indicator of how good a team is. By the way, I think the SEC hype about speed and the Big 10 hype about o-line is BS. These things may have been true 10-15 years ago, but are myths. Both conferences have speed and good blocking. Ohio State and Michigan played well the most consistently throughout the regular season. Florida and USC had a lot of good players who didn't play consistently or up to their capabilities, throughout the year. I am not throwing out the regular season so callously when regarding players from each of these teams. Frankly, I don't care if you dislike each other. I don't care if you have opposing opinions. But could you please keep your testosterone under check? Hair is starting to sprout on the underside of my monitor and the razor will need to come out shortly to cut it off. Thank you for your kind consideration.
So, I'm not a Buckeye fan. And I thought they were a pretty talented team.
