It appears to me that the Lions want to go with a zone blocking scheme if they are thinking about Colletto. I'm not sure who is available. The problem I have with this is that I think (not 100% sure) that is what Pat Morris failed miserably to do, and got fired. It requires smaller, faster, more agile OL ... which are usually easier to find more easily than stud man-o-man blockers. The problem is that the zone blocking scheme is almost as popular as the Tampa 2 right now and all the good players are getting snatched up. The Lions have Raiola and maybe a couple other bits and pieces. Backus is not great in any scheme and has the slowest feet I've ever seen in a LT.
