We release some of "our" baggage vicariously through our beloved Team. The very FACT that there IS NO reason to take it seriously is exactly why we do just that!!! And I will ask you... at the start of this season... there seems to be a weight lifted off the shoulders of the players and fans? Why does the air smell a bit sweeter and the water more palitable? I'm guessing that Bob's curse is about to end... and as ridiculous as that sounds, things DO seem to be improving. Come on plummer... we simply LOVE football because five minutes after the game is over we have the entire next week to talk about it, or about the next game coming up. This passion is a harmless diversion against the daily grind... yet, it is something that we all take very seriously.
