I was tempted by pre-season,
But they were just a teasin'.
My belief has not been earned.
Yet, from fantasy ball I have learned;
You throw out the 1st week stats-
else you'll pick up all the rats.

(sigh!) Again, hope springs eternal.
Marinelli preaches that intensity
to which I have such a propensity.
My heart says things can turn around
by playing disciplined and being sound.
Yet, my head says we've been here before,
for years amounting to a couple score.
Still, no hoodies, t-shirts, or gear!
At least I don't see it now, this year.
Until they break that eight-n-eight,
My Lion tickets have no date.
