Yeah Tom Lewand would fill in just to keep the team functioning, but I'd assume that they'd start looking for a replacement ASAP. There's no rush, but I'd have someone in place at least before the end of the season. That way, that person will have time to evaluate the team and find people interested in coming here.
The timing for this is perfect, because there are guys out there with experience that could do well here. There are experienced coaches and assistant GMs that would jump at a chance to come in and run this team.
