Man I was sure hoping that Kitna would be too hurt/sore to play this week so we could give Drew a shot. My son actually played HS ball with Drew and has a big honking State Championship ring to prove it. My son wasn't a starter but he was part of the team. My son was much better at hockey than football. Unfortunately he can't play either sport since taking a couple wicked hits during mop up time in football. He got hit in the head and back and hasn't been able to play sports since. He's not permanently injured but a doctor told him one more hit like that and he might be. So he quit sports after that.
Anyways, sorry I sometimes babble...LOL I do hope Drew steps up in the not too distant future and provides us with some hope, for the future. I like Kitna as a person but as far as his decision making skills and even his leadership ability? Well, I just don't think he's done that great. Yes he has to run for his life alot but dang that Green Bay game he went from hero to absolute goat in no time at all. When he walked off the field after that third INT without even looking back at the guy who picked it off? Well that wasn't very professional in my book....
