That is a pretty good analogy of Drew, Lisa. Speaking of John L Smith, who here can believe he used his QB on special teams so he could break a leg, literally? When I saw that I classified John as the worse coach at any level, EVER.
I have to agree with you that Drew probably isn't ready yet but I foolishly just wanted to see something other than Kitna leading this team. It does make sense to wait though. "Just a little patience"....Not something I'm real good at even though I have been a Lions fan all my life and you would think I would have learned some. LOL "Lord grant me patience but I want it right now"!!! lol
I absolutely don't agree at all that Orlovsky and Stanton are one and the same and for the obvious reason that Lisa pointed out. Drew is very mobile and he has a stronger arm. So no way are they comparable.
Ok, so lets muddle thru another inept year and then put our hopes on Stanton learning enough, and staying healthy long enough, to give us hope for the future...
