The Lions are truly the worst team the NFL has ever seen. This team has never been a Superbowl contender and has been a basket-case for years. The fact that Millen was there for as long as he was made this season inevitable. For most teams this would be an eye opening event worthy of a top to bottom organization cleaning. I'm sure we won't see it. I still maintain the Fords worry more about the bottom line than fielding a championship team, they're happy if the Lions can win enough games to keep fans interested and sell tickets. Even they can't be happy this season, but don't look for much to change. They have a few players they can build a team around, but don't expect more than the normal minimal effort to do so. The off season moves and especially the next draft will really tell the tale of this team ever amounting to anything.
