I was wrong. Lewand is being bumped up to pres and asst. GM and Mayhew IS going to be the new GM. As discouraging as this is, I'm not giving up my Lion fan card just yet. This is a tough one to take, however.
My husband and I were discussing after the game, who would get fired first, Crenell or Marinelli. I said Bill Sr. would wait for the plane to land and by Monday a.m. we would hear the news. My husband said that if Bill Ford Jr. were in charge he wouldn't have waited and might have made them walk home (sans Travis Fisher). That image cheered me slightly.
I want Bill Jr. in charge. Come on, Bill, hire me and take over the Lions! Your dad is tired and just needs a little push from you to give it up. Make a New Year's resolution, please. Make the Lions a winner.
