I LOVE Matt Stafford, and living in the South, I've seen most of his games. He's a beast with a cannon arm. Bradford's more mobile, but Stafford's arm is unmatched. And he's a good, smart kid. I truly think he could be a great QB in this league. That said, I agree that the Lions do need other things besides a QB at that #1 spot. One good thing about the Lions' suckiness is that they need just about everything!
We still don't know which underclassmen are coming out, but as it stands Andre Smith is who I'd nab that top pick. Our defense needs the most help, but there's not a defensive guy that would warrant the top pick in this draft. But the guy I GOTTA have with that 2nd pick in the 1st round is James Laurinaitis. He could be the next Spielman for us.
