Since we are rebuilding, I like the idea of getting a guy that's been successful or pulling an understudy from a successful organization. Seeing as how Paoli's gone (not that he would've even been a candidate since Mayhew/Lewand got the nod), I think I'd prolly lean toward Reese. I've liked Reese from the moment Millen was fired, and I think he'd be an asset. Your recommendations at the bottom make since also based on your analysis of them. I'd really like a qualified person to just focus on personnel evaluations. If Mayhew's pulling the trigger, I want his decisions based on the best info possible.
And it's funny that you busted on Donahoe. He had a nice track record in Pitt before going to Buffalo (although I do like Marshawn Lynch). Just goes to show you that you never know.
