lose 2 first rounders, a starting QB (would they have taken Kitna? haha), and swap a 3rd for a 5th.
plus we have the $30mil in salary tied to the #1 overall pick...
we couldn't afford to make a deal for Cutler... we'd have too many holes, too much salary tied up in Cutler and #1 overall, whoever that is...
the reason the Bears make this deal is that they feel they're only one QB away from contending...
different circumstances...
Cutler is not worth the 3-4 (potential) starters the Lions would have to give up to land him.
Good deal for Denver... we'll see how good their o-line is now
