from TomK @ mlive: "The Detroit Lions, who have already re-signed offensive linemen Stephen Peterman and Damion Cook from last year's squad, added another former player today when they re-signed tackle George Foster.
Foster, who was acquired in the trade that sent Dre Bly to the Denver Broncos in 2007, has started 12 games for the Lions over the past two years, including three last season.
The Lions also announced the signing of free agent center Dylan Gandy, a former fourth-round pick by the Colts in 2005. Gandy, who has also spent time with the Broncos and Raiders, did not appear in a game last season. Both Foster and Gandy signed one-year contracts."
