I see very little similarity between the two, actually...
I don't like drafting a QB #1 because I think it puts too much pressure on the guy to play and produce before he's ready... or before there's an OL to protect him. Gotta have protection first or your $40mil prospect is gonna develop all kinds of bad habits under fire. So the OL has to have a certain competence before id even consider playing a blue chip rook at QB.
I'd sit him a year at least... Philip Rivers, basically.
