Another vet brought in to compete. He's had some injury problems in the past and he's long in the tooth, but he's smart and still capable of being a solid player. Not a Pro-Bowler, but not a guy that will let guys stroll to the QB. And he should mind his gap enough to provide a hole for the backs. Basically, a guy that should consistently do his job.
This is a smart move. He should hold down a guard or tackle spot until a youngster (or a younger, quality vet) can be brought in to take over next year.
