I didn't get to see the 1st half of the game, and I may go back and look. But right now I don't see much need.
They need to use Aaron Brown similarly to how the Vikes use Percy Harvin and the Saints use Reggie Bush.
O-line didn't look as good as they did in pre-season, surprise surprise. D-line looked even worse than they looked in pre-season. It doesn't matter how good the LBs and DBs are when the QB can sit back and wait. Blitz those LBs, because they are doing nothing waiting in a zone. Run defense still has nothing. DT...DT...DT.
The first game is usually an aberration. But I'm just not sure it will get better in the next 5 games. Gunther needs to adjust to the way they are getting handled in the run game. Only rushing 3 DL and dropping back 8 isn't going to work. It all looked eerily similar to the bend but don't win Tampa 2 system. Linehan probably needs to get back up in the booth to get his play-calling mojo back. They just looked too predictable. And I don't know if the TEs were targeted in the first half, but they need to use their other 1st rounder more to get Stafford comfortable and not aimlessly lofting the ball into nowhere.
I've got way more thoughts than time.
