The defense was horrible yet again. Offensively the team is good enough to compete, but when the other team is scoring almost at will what's the point.
Hopefully Stafford's okay. I LOVE this kid's moxie. He's got a gunslinger mentality; he's looking for the big play and he's got the howitzer attached to his shoulder to make the throws. He's being more careful with the ball also. He seems to be improving, and he's comfortable. The running game wasn't too bad either considering it was Chicago. I like the direction of the offense.
I don't have enough room to type about what's wrong with the defense, so why bother. Everyone here pretty much knows the weaknesses at the line and in coverage. I like the aggression, and it'll pay off in spades with better talent. At least the LBs are decent.
I agree that special teams gave up too much good field position, and that Knox return was deadly. Gotta fix that.
Overall though, I actually enjoy watching them again. It's interesting football, at least for 2 or 3 quarters. Last year we'd be lucky to get a quarter of competitive football!!!
