Atlanta is trading this three year starter to the Lions for a 6th round pick and a switch of picks in round 5, according to several sources. He has started 37 games with the Falcons, and their depth at the position makes him expendable. Rumor is he is good in man coverage and likes to press WRs at the line. Seems a good deal to me if he can play well. Cunningham likes him.
This will make 4 moves early on in the FA period, and I really like the defensive upgrades a lot. However, I am 100% in agreement with myself that Suh needs to be our selection if he is there after the Rams draft choice becomes known. Anyone else will disappoint me greatly. I hope Bradford has an outstanding pro day!
