I think the Lions look a lot better. I agree that the defensive line can cover up some of the inadequecies of the secondary. That is, if the defensive line is as advertised.
If Stafford doesn't have the proverbial slump, the offense should be pretty good, and fun to watch. I don't know about a consistent thirty points, but I hope you are right. Anyway, they should be better.
But what usually happens with our beloved Lions is that when we go into a season looking like this, an unbelieveable series of injuries strikes. Torn ligaments, concussions, Dengue fever, meteor strikes, whatever, it just seems like this team is always snakebit, one way or another.
So, if our sideline doesn't end up looking like a scene from the Cival War (think of Scarlet O'Hara when she looked over Atlanta), we could have a pretty good year, for us. Maybe even 8/8, or 9/7.
Well, maybe that's too much to hope for.
