Every day in America, there are one million people doing exactly the same thing. Think about that.
OK, enough thinking. Glad to hear from you, Phantom! From the paucity of your posts of late, I surmised that you were incarcerated somewhere, doubtless for assaulting some poor, hapless person that was wearing a purple shirt, unaware that there was a madman lurking, to whom the wearing of such a shirt is adjuged to be akin to taking the mark of the beast.
So, here it is, the year that the Lions are finally ready to make a little noise, and so football comes grinding to a halt. It will probably go on until Calvin Johnson is in his dotage, trying to catch a football while clutching his walker.
In a sick and twisted kind of way, it seems kinda fitting.
