Plummer, beating SD is going to be a tough chore. They are playing like the great team they are despite Norv Turner, and December is a month in which they have seldom lost during Rivers tenure as starting QB there. Still, with the playoffs in sight, both teams will be giving it their very best. I will be hoping for another heart stopping win. Feeling strong emotion during December Lions games is something I have not been used to for such a long, long time!
Az, that loss might actually help your chances of repeating as champs. With injuries hitting the Pack hsrd of late, resting key players in week 17 will ensure a healthier team in round two. The bye will help, too. The Lions may need to win that game to secure a playoff spot if they lose this Sunday.
