Posted by Gringa For me when LP and LM to play together , it just doesn't get any better, BUT like EBOO said in her post LP can hold their own and they get an incredible response by fans whether they play with La Mafia or by themselves, whether they are the headliners or playing on the same bill with big name Norteņos or Gruperos. They need to keep doing what they are doing, by playing some gigs by themselves or headlinging (so they can play longer sets and we can hear more songs old and new) , and playing with other bands (to get more exposure). I know that a lot of people would like to see them play in their area more often. Last Friday night was the first time they had played DFW in almost a YEAR!! I love to see my two favorites at the same time, same place, (makes it easier for me 
). They have played together several times lately, Seguin back in Jan, the Red Cross Benefit in H-town, The big Freedom Fiesta in Corpus and just last Saturday at OK Corral North in H-town.
I-35/I-10 band , playing SA, H-town and Big D every month in the same clubs. That's why Tejano is getting stale, too many bands playing the same clubs over and over (over-exposure, you get to the point where you say, oh well I'll just catch them next month) They have fans all over the US and Mexico and we gots to share.
