Trying to find Siblings of my Gr.Grandparents.
Actually ANY information on the families would be helpful!! Would really like to meet some family.
This is what I know:
John Wilson b.about 1858-59 (possibly in Belfast)
d.1892 (as told by family)
Parents: Arthur Wilson and Margaret Irvine/Irwin.
Janet(Jessie)McNeil b.about 1858 in Cambusnethan
d.October 31,1914 in Wilkinsburg,Pennsylvania,USA
Parents: John McNeil(coalminer)and Janet Reid.
John and Jessie were married May 21,1880 at
35 Crawford Street Govan,Partick,Lanarkshire.
One of the witnesses was an Agnes McNeil.
There were six children: Janet(Jessie),Margaret, Agnes,John,Arthur and James. Janet was b.Dec.1880.
Arthur(my grandfather)b.Feb.16,1890 d.Jan.10,1951.
James was born 1891.
Jessie McNeil Wilson and her grown children came to the United States through Ellis Island at various dates between 1906 and 1909. Where they settled on Swissvale Ave.,Wilkinsburg,Pennsylvania
I know that there were some Wilson's who settled in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. But the only name I have is "Aunt Winnie" Lever, who wrote letters to my aunt in the mid-1970's.
