I was addicted to iFriends in 2004, and was aware of all the money I was spending - I had calculated it to be around $4000 over about 8 months. Unfortunately, I later discovered duplicate charges and charges even after I had closed the account. The actual amount ripped from my account ended up being 3 times that amount. Yes, I'm an idiot for not having kept a closer eye, but when I did reconcile my credit card and was shocked to see what had happened, it was too late to reverse/block the charges. What a bunch of crooks.
Never again will I do something like that
