History: Young Peter Parker was only six years old when his parents were killed in a plane crash. He was taken in and raised by his loving Uncle Ben and Aunt May. A shy and sensitive boy, Peter spent more time studying in high school than making friends in hopes of finishing the formula to a molecular adhesive his father was working on before the plane crash. His only two friends were the wealthy Harry Osborn and the beautiful Mary Jane Watson. The rest of his peers teased or bullied him. Then one day Peter’s life drastically changed. During a class field trip to Osborn Industries’ main lab, Peter was bitten by a spider that had been injected with an experimental super soldier serum called OZ. The bite gave Peter powers beyond his wildest dreams. He was stronger, faster, and more agile; he could climb walls; and he gained a sixth precognitive sense that warned him of danger. At first, Peter planned to use his powers for his own personal gain. But then his beloved Uncle Ben was murdered by a criminal whom Peter neglected to stop from robbing a deli. After capturing his uncle’s killer, Peter vowed to use his powers to protect the weak. For with great power comes great responsibility.
