History: The founder and president of Osborn Industries, Inc., Norman Osborn was an extremely wealthy workaholic. Osborn began a project called Oz to create a super soldier serum for SHIELD. Falling behind in production, however, Osborn rushed the product’s testing phase which lead to the accident that made young Peter Parker into Spider-Man. Seeing the Spider-Man accident as a success for the product, Norman decided to use Oz with a mixture of his own DNA on himself. This turned Norman Osborn into the monster known as the Green Goblin and later drove him insane.
