Posted by Ferdy Feature Characters: Lee Baker, Jacques Larocque, Jay Littlebear, Captain Simon Savage, Roy "Blarney" Stone, Sam "Yakkety" Yates (all Leatherneck Raiders) Guest Appearances: Toshiro Monsoon, Joe Morita (all Samurai Squadron) Villains: Baron Strucker, Chief Aide (first appearance and death), Hydra, Nazis, Supreme Hydra (first appearance and death) Several Hydra agents run up towards the unarmed Morita and Savage with guns loaded. One of the Hydra agents tells the others to kill them both! The Supreme Hydra has decreed it! Another says that they will be but childs play for them as they’re not even armed! Clenching his fists, Savage tells Morita to get up! This is the end of the line for both of them! Either they cream these jokers… or they’re finished! Struggling to his feet, Morita tells Savage that he… he is trying but his head is not yet clear. Savage yells at him not to tell him his troubles. Just get on his feet and start fighting! He slaps Morita in the face, saying that he’s sorry to play it this way… but if a slap in the chops’ll snap him out of it… Angered, Morita screams and, calling Savage and America, swears that he will pay for that… Morita says “Later!” as he gets up and kicks a Hydra agent. He says that now it appears there are more pressing matters to attend to! Savage punches the Hydra agent in the face and kicks his gun away, telling Morita that he’s glad he feels that way about it! Flipping a Hydra agent into the air, Morita tells him to just remember that they will only be allies for a short while longer. As soon as these costumed clowns have been disposed of, they will be facing each other! While taking out another Hydra agent, Savage says that it suits him just fine as long as they take care of the common enemy first. Though he has to admit that shouldn’t take long! A Hydra agent grabs Morita in a hold and tells Savage that his boasts will soon turn to pleas of mercy! His Japanese comrade can vouch for it! Another Hydra agent raises his gun in preparation to hit Morita, saying if he remains conscious long enough! Savage grabs the agent he was fighting and flips him into the air, using him to knock the other agent out. He tells them that there’s not much doubt about that because their not going to be able to shut him up! Morita gives Savage his sincere thanks and says that he thinks he can handle his other captor himself! Raising his gun above his head, a Hydra agent thinks that Morita is a swine and says only if he has eyes in the back of his head! Morita kicks an agent in the head, knocking him out, he begins to say ‘that should teach him’ but is hit in the back of the head with by the other Hydra agent. Savage leaps on the Hydra agents back and wraps his legs around his head. He tells the agent that he never went for hitting from behind but since it seems to be okay in his book… But within but another second, the tide of battle has once again turned… A Hydra agent tells the others to gang up on him! As three agents jump on Savage, one of them says that not even Savage can hope to beat three of them! Another agent rushes towards the injured Morita and says that he will finish this one! Struggling to stay conscious, Morita notes that another one is charging at him but he’s too weak to get up. As an agent and his two fellows start to pound on Savage, he says that the battle is as good as won for them! Another says that the Supreme One will be proud that they have triumped. The other Hydra agent punches Morita into a tree and tells the others that they should finish their task and claim their reward. Morita says that his head won’t clear… the agent is moving too fast… his thoughts stop when his head hits the tree. And, as the American Naval captain and the Japanese sergeant struggle for their very lives… Baron Strucker watches the fight on a television screen. He says that Savage and Morita are more than he had hoped for! They possess every quality Hydra’s great generals must! Baron Strucker smiles and says that if they do not manage to defeat Hydra’s finest warriors, they must die! However, from what his screen shows him, he is confident they will be victorius! Then, if they are, all that will remain is the brainwashing process… which will make them his mindless robots! Talking to the captured Leatherneck Raiders and Samurai Squad, Baron Strucker says that it is unfortunate, though, that they will not live to see their leaders help Hydra conquer the world! Jay Littlebear calls Strucker ‘chrome dome’ and says that could be but he has a hunch he won’t live to see it either! Moving forward and grabbing Strucker’s arm, he says that, in fact, he can almost guarantee it! Strucker calls him a swine in German and says that he dares lay a hand on the Supreme Hydra? Littlebear says that if he means the Supreme Hydra that’s going to get his arm twisted off… yeah! Suddenly bars separate the Samurai Squadron and Leatherneck Raiders from Strucker. Strucker calls Littlebear an idiot in German and asks if he thought him so stupid as to not be prepared for his primitive reactions? Littlebear is still confused at what just happened as Strucker says he had hoped it would not be necessary to imprison them yet… but they’ve left him no choice! Now they will watch the remainder of the battle from behind bars! After which, regardless of the outcome, they will all be shot! For none may defy the will of Hydra and remain alive! After stomping the ground with his feet in a display of power, Strucker points to the screen and tells them to watch for the battle’s end… for it will sound the toll of death for each of them! Littlebear punches through the bars of his cage and smashes the viewscreen, saying then, in that case, he thinks they better switch channels! Strucker curses at him and says that Littlebear has now sealed an even earlier execution hour! He tells the guards to take them to the wall and prepare them for the Firing Squad. He will come to give the order of death himself! Though he commends their defiance, he pities them for their stupidity. For, if to be dead heroes is their wish, they may now consider that wish granted! Then, after the American and Japanese commandos have been dragged from his presence… Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker drifts into a power-crazed reverie… Strucker thinks that it is a great waste of manpower to put such well-trained soldiers to their deaths… but it will serve as a stunning example to those who remain alive… that none may defy his will! Human weaknesses have proved the downfall of every great conqueror in history up to now… but such weaknesses will not hinder the rise to power of Baron Strucker! It seems like only yesterday that he was banned from Germany by Hitler… (flashback) Dressed in a trench coat in a large hat, Strucker watches as Nazis scour the city for him. He thinks to himself that the Fuehrer has the Gestapo looking for him and how it will do little good. (present) Strucker thinks about how right he was… for, in a matter of hours, those few of his men who remained loyal to him were spiriting him away from the tyrannical domain of the mad corporal from Austria… (flashback) Strucker sits in a car as it speeds away down a dirt road. He bids farewell to Germany. He shall miss it and all it has been to him! But, this he promises… long after Hitler’s bones have rotted, and his memory has been blotted from Germany he will be a subject of pride to them all! (present) Strucker says that, then, he snuck aboard a freighter for Japan… where he hoped to lay the foundation for his victorious return to his homeland… (flashback) While riding on a large boat, Strucker thinks that if the Japanese Underground is as powerful as he has been told, then he should be able to start building his own army from there! At least it is a place from which to begin! (present) Strucker says that, finally, he arrived in the Land of the Rising Sun, where he received a somewhat less than cordial greeting… (flashback) Strucker holds his arms in the air as Japanese gangsters hold him at gunpoint. Strucker tells the gangsters that he must protest this outrageous treatment! He came here as a friend… an ally! A Japanese man in a brown coat and hat points his gun at Strucker and tells him that that is what everyone says who tries to enter the Underground! He tells Strucker to be silent and answer some questions. (present) Strucker says that after he answered some preliminary questions he was brought before the underground leader… (flashback) A Japanese man in a suit tells Strucker that they have heard of him… and feel he can be of invaluable service to them. Strucker smiles as the leader of the Underground tells him that they are in the process of forming a secret society… the goal of which shall one day be to conquer the world! (present) Strucker says that, in time, that dream breached into reality.
