Posted by Ferdy Strucker clenches his fist and smiles as several green robed/masked men behind him hold their arms up and yell “Hail Hydra!” (present) Strucker says that then he masterminded and led raids on important war plants all over the world. (flashback) Dressed in a green robe himself now, Strucker runs towards a building with a troop of Hydra agents behind him. One of the agents tells him that the entrance is secure. As several other Hydra agents fire at some people, Strucker tells him to proceed to the vault then! They must capture the weapons blueprints! Brandishing a sword, he tells the agents that they need modern arms and they will steal them from the world’s greatest military geniuses. (present) Strucker says that one their arsenal was at maximum strength, there remained but one final move for him to make… (flashback) Standing in front of the Supreme Hydra, Strucker says that, since it was him who masterminded their rise to power… he contends, the Supreme Hydra must step down and declare him the new Supreme Hydra! Pulling a gun, the Supreme Hydra calls him a fool and says that he has served his purpose and he will now give him his reward! He shoots at Strucker and appears to hit him point-blank. Strucker smiles and asks if he thought he wouldn’t anticipate such a move? Knocking the Supreme Hydra’s gun away and pointing his sword at him, Strucker tells him that he entered his quarters prepared with a bulletproof vest. He underestimated him… a mistake which will be his last! The Supreme Hydra holds his hands up in defeat and says no! Have mercy! They can rule together! (present) Strucker says that his answer to the Supreme Hydra’s pitiful pleas came in the form of action, however… rather than useless words! (flashback) Standing atop the dead body of the Supreme Hydra, Strucker raises his arm triumphantly and says that his mission is complete! Now Baron Strucker is Hydra… and Hydra is Baron Strucker! (present) Strucker says that, naturally, no one dared question his ascent to power… and in the months that followed, the construction of their supreme citadel was begun… Until, one year later, Hydra Island was ready for occupation… standing alone and majestic… an invincible fortress to which one day a world would look for orders. Then, at long last, the time for fulfilling his destiny was upon him… (flashback) Standing in front of a Hydra flag, Strucker orders his troops to the War Room! There is no time for relaxation! There will be much time for savoring the fruits of their labor once the world grovels at their feet! Shortly the chiefs of staff are assembled for their first strategy session. As himself and several Hydra agents stand around a large table with a map on it, Strucker tells them that Hydra has gone to great lengths to bring them, the world’s foremost military experts, here! Now prove to him that their efforts have not been in vain! (present) Strucker says that, in vain they were not… for in a mere week, they had devised a scheme to arm themselves with the most awesome weapon ever known to mankind… (flashback) Strucker stands in front of some saluting Hydra agents and says that, if all goes well, in a matter of weeks Hydra will possess the atomic bomb! And, once it is in their hands, nothing can stop them from conquering every nation on earth! Germany shall be the first to fall… so that he may have his revenge on the madman that drove him from his home! After that, Britain, France, America… all of them will be forced to kneel before them! And Hydra shall finally be all-powerful!
