Sorry I haven't posted an update lately. I think I've been busy, but the only thing I can remember doing is picking up poop and laundry!
Callisto's babies are doing great. At the last weigh in on Monday, there were 4 over 6 lbs., 1 over 5 lbs., and the little guy was finally at 4 1/2 lbs. They are completely weaned now and eating puppy kibble soaked in goat milk and water. They eat 4 times a day and last night slept from 10:15 til 7:30 this morning. They are as cute as they can be and I have my computer set up where I can sit and watch them. They are very playful and bark and growl at each other all the time. They have very different personalities, but none seem to be overy upset with changes. Kizzy (Pink Girl) is a tiny female Kodi!!!! She is going to be a handful when she gets bigger. But even she loves to snuggle.
I haven't had a lot of people in to see them because they are so vulnerable to germs until they get older and get their shots started. A couple of them have stuffy noses and congestion, but they have all be put on meds to prevent anything getting worse. Stuffy noses or not, it hasn't slowed them down.
Yesterday was a BIG day because they got to go outside and play for the very first time. They seemed to enjoy their puppy playground and they all liked going through the tunnel. They also got a new inside home. I took down the whelping box (which they were outgrowing) and put up a puppy pen. I used the plastic playpen panels you can buy at WalMart and when I first set it up, it was a smaller area, but yesterday I added the extensions and now they have a fairly large area now to sleep and play (and poop) in. I am sorry to say, they are NOT housebroke yet!!!! I WISH!
