Terri, it's pretty easy to introduce housebreaking to puppies. Section off an area in the back of their run, using something like a small length of wood [2x4? ?], which lays flat and creates a "lip" but is easy to get over. In that back area put some shavings or other bedding which is absorbent and easy to clean up. My puppies seemed instinctively to use the "separate" area to relieve themselves. And, once one does so, the others should follow suit. If they don't get the idea at once, when you are cleaning up after them you could shift some of their droppings over there, which would help create a designated area. Hope this helps.

: Sorry I haven't posted an update lately. I
: think I've been busy, but the only thing I
: can remember doing is picking up poop and
: laundry!
:
: Callisto's babies are doing great. At the
: last weigh in on Monday, there were 4 over 6
: lbs., 1 over 5 lbs., and the little guy was
: finally at 4 1/2 lbs. They are completely
: weaned now and eating puppy kibble soaked in
: goat milk and water. They eat 4 times a day
: and last night slept from 10:15 til 7:30
: this morning. They are as cute as they can
: be and I have my computer set up where I can
: sit and watch them. They are very playful
: and bark and growl at each other all the
: time. They have very different
: personalities, but none seem to be overy
: upset with changes. Kizzy (Pink Girl) is a
: tiny female Kodi!!!! She is going to be a
: handful when she gets bigger. But even she
: loves to snuggle.
:
: I haven't had a lot of people in to see them
: because they are so vulnerable to germs
: until they get older and get their shots
: started. A couple of them have stuffy noses
: and congestion, but they have all be put on
: meds to prevent anything getting worse.
: Stuffy noses or not, it hasn't slowed them
: down.
:
: Yesterday was a BIG day because they got to
: go outside and play for the very first time.
: They seemed to enjoy their puppy playground
: and they all liked going through the tunnel.
: They also got a new inside home. I took
: down the whelping box (which they were
: outgrowing) and put up a puppy pen. I used
: the plastic playpen panels you can buy at
: WalMart and when I first set it up, it was a
: smaller area, but yesterday I added the
: extensions and now they have a fairly large
: area now to sleep and play (and poop) in. I
: am sorry to say, they are NOT housebroke
: yet!!!! I WISH!
:
: This is a link to the pictures from their
: outside adventure.

:
: And this is a link to the pictures of their
: new puppy nursery. Some of the pictures are
: from the smaller setup, and the rest are
: from yesterday when they got their BIG
: nursery put up for them.
