Where are you located exactly? There are many great mastiff people owners,breeders,handlers in Kansas City and surrounding area. Have you ever attended a local show?
I have been involved in the breed for 15 years and have done very limited breeding over the past 6 years. There are individuals in your area with 30+ years of experience in showing and breeding, that could be a wealth of information for you and your family.
I am sure that one of us or a collection of all of us could help you with your questions and concerns.
If you would like to email me privately you are more than welcome and I will help you in any way that I can and if I don't have the answers, I can most likely find someone who does.
