There is a woman who has been suspended from AKC since 1997. She has never paid her fine, and has never been reinstated.
BUT, she is registering AKC litters, selling AKC registered puppies (Mastiff, of course) AND showing "her" dog in AKC conformation events.
HOW? Easy - she has all her dogs registered in her daughter's name! Now you and I both know that this child, who is barely a teenager, is NOT the "real" owner of those dogs. But, according to AKC everything is copacetic because the mother's suspension has no bearing on the daughter (or any other family member to include the husband).
What good does it do for AKC to suspend somebody if all they have to do is put the dogs in another family member's name and keep on doing what they were doing all along???
This is the biggest piece of S*** I've heard lately. I was in a really lousy mood today and this just made it worse. I just HAD to vent!
