Well Paul, if I could ever find one of these "well-made Auto-legends" I would snatch it up in a minute. Yesterday, I was helping the police search for a spent bullet, in an area that was strewn with nails. A shed had been torn down years earlier, leaving a barrage of nails potentially masking the possible bullet. I attempted to use my old 77b, but the lack of auto-tune left me at a disadvantage. The terrain was too either too uneven, and/or too mineralized for a manual 77b.
The only Auto-Legend I ever tried, was a joke. Seemed better to me to have to suffer through "riding the knob" on the original 77b.
If anyone out there has one of the "better made" Auto-legends, I'd sure like to see one in action.
