This is a special detector. Imagine with all the speculation, most of it wrong that has been written by folks who have never used the detector I think great harm can come to a company when consumers buy something totally different and have no clue what they just got themselves into. I would like a dollar for every forum moaner and armchair expert who can't use the detector he or she has. I have had the pleasure of using the prototype for about one year now. I have tested it in some of the worst mineralized ground on the planet, salt water beach, old school yards. I found good targets everywhere I went, in soil that made VLF machines useless. I built my first detector in 1969. I can say without a doubt, the Pulsescan and the Goldscan 5 by Eric Foster are the two best detectors I have ever used. Just my opinion based on in field experience. Oh yeah one more thing, they are different. So I guess in the hands of the wrong people you may never wish to own one based on poor information. It will happen soon. Go to americanrelichunters.com and see some of my recent finds. My email is open to you if you are considering purchasing one. I'm not a dealer. Best regards, Tex
