On relics the depth was the same. Two things in favor of the TDI. All manual adjustments, you are not tethered to a battery. At Brandy Rock in the hottest soil the TDI handled it better without allot of ground noise. I went back over this spot and heard and dug bullet after bullet, button after button. Butch from Colorado had the New GP4000 and had the same results. Different strokes for different folks.
