Steve, I have used the Tiger Shark and the CZ-20 in Lake Michigan around the St Joseph/Benton Harbor (silver beach) area and in several inland lakes.
I would go with the Tiger Shark because of the interchangeable coils plus it is a beter balanced detector for hunting in the sand.
mount the box on the shaft near your elbow or hip mount it.
The CZ-20 is a also good detector and if you were in Salt water it would be the one to use.
