detector for an 11 year old

Want to buy a metal detector for my son's birthday. He will be eleven. I have ben looking around some. Dont really want to spend more than $80.00. Does any one have recommandations? Been looking at the Bounty Hunter Jr. Any help will be greatly appreciated! THANKS GUYS/GALS.
