Same basic circuitry, with only the TID added for the IDX Pro.
They have served me well with a 6½" and 8" coil, and the 4" in the nastiest iron.
In almost all cases, I'd suggest one that has "Mr. Bill's" modifications to have manual GB and Threshold.
