I can't find my instruction book either and searched the net a few years back without success.
No reason why it will not work with the Vision except for the Visions ground balancing method.
Main thing with the suggested Spectrum programmes was to switch tracking off and work in all metal only. Pre Amp should be set at 8 and AC 80/DC 60 as a starting point. None of the other settings really mattered.
Then air balance, then hold "tube" 1-5 inches from the coil with the striped end towards the centre of the coil and press ground balance pad.
In bad ground put the coil down several inches above the ground and pull/release the trigger to reset the ground balance offset.
The various postions to hold the unit to adjust the iron rejection was ...in line towards coil 100% elimination, 45 degree around 70% and held at 90 degrees to the coil 40% of small iron rejected.
