Hi Paul,

Thanks for the info, I was wondering what the difference was, I bought this CSP from the original owner, who bought it in 1991. I knew when he told me it used 8 AA batteries it was George Payn design, but other than that I have not been able to find a lot of information about the Coin Scanner Pro.

Is the Coin Scanner Pro 2 the same machine, with ground balance added. I have talked to Keith Wills about adding a ground balance, I think that would be money well spent. I hunt all over Arizona and the ground conditions go from mild to wild.
