Hi Mark,
I've always picked up the spacers from broken down detectors, Never tried Whites but they may sell you one.
As for a meter housing, Have used gutted out Explorer housings which hold the Mark 1 meter or better yet when I have these on hand use the entire Whites 5900/6000 Di-Pro meter housing setup.
As for using the Tee or S-handle, I prefer an S-handle just feels better balanced but that's my take on it.
Here's a rough pic of a Mark 1 I did several years ago using a gutted out Explorer housing for the meter setup and I think the S-handle came from a Sovereign.
Try Keith Wills, Maybe he has a spacer and Whites handle and if not try Whites.
