I've researched the Compadre and I just can't find anyone who has a negative opinion of it. It is a far different detector than the Umax, and I like the fact that it has a higher frequency. I normally use a Nautilus with 6 inch coil in nail beds, but I'd like a lighter unit for those spots. I'm also a big fan of Tesoro. I might just get the Compadre and a smaller loop for the Umax and do some comparisons. Thanks again, bubba.
