I just spent a couple of hours testing different machines for response on chains. One 14K & 10K.
The Wader didn't see either chain with disc at 1.5
The Troy X5 saw both but the 10K was faint.
The 6000XL Pro 5.3 coil missed both.
The Coinscanner Pro saw the 14K only on sound no meter reading & missed the 10K .
The MXT missed both in Relic mod & Jewelry mod.
The Excal missed both as well.
All hit the rings 10K 14K 18K
I've been curious about the v3 from any testing I've done with Whites they miss every time.
The frequency makes be think the V3 should see the chains but the coil has as much to do with it as well.
The Tesoro Tejon can snag chains and so can the Troy X5, some of the other Tesoro machines may do well on chains which leads me to believe it's all in the coil, I think the Tigershark is good on chains.
