My modified IDX Pro using the black sand switch to expand the discrimination range along with minimum disc. will hit very small gold chains better than most any detector I've owned. Much better than the two Minelabs I own and better than my old 14 kHz. Compass Gold Scanner Pro and Coin Pro.
