Thanks for the thoughtful response. I'll work on your suggestions. I had the V3 at the beach yesterday with the bigfoot and it went nuts in the prospecting mode. Wish I'd had your suggestions before I went! I got a bit frazzled (maybe the 2 beers I had at the Hilton's beach bar happy hour first weren't helping my concentration). I swithched to my TDI and found the usual crud and enough cash to pay for one of the beers. Oh yes, I didn't go in the water, surf looked a bit strong for someone in my reduced condition. Thanks again for the info.
