Knobs are a relief to use. I have a XL Pro & IDX Pro. I spend less time adjusting & more time hunting. When I use a newer digital detector, I often find myself adjusting just to adjust. Probably an obsessive compulsive thing on my part. But with the knobs I adjust once & go. I need simplicity in my life.
